OMG! I just came across an article on sfgate.com from 4- 5 days ago about Mike Fanelli. A San Francisco man who is about to cross the 100,000 mile mark. Think about that for a moment. Lets say you run, as he did, 100 miles per week. In one year you would run 5200 miles. Multiply that times 10 and you get 52,000 miles. Keep up that kind of mileage for much longer and your likely to start doing damage. This guy is awesome. He's run every distance out there and holds a record at one of the distances. Go read the article. It's worth it.
See ya in the woods,
